Eligibility

Please review the following before visiting the booth.

  • All prescriptions are reviewed and approved by a licensed eye doctor.
  • Must be 18 to 64 years old.
  • If you have diagnosed eye conditions, you may not be eligible through Eyebot.
  • Eyeglass prescriptions supported: Up to +4.00 (farsighted) Β· Down to -8.00 (nearsighted).
  • Eyeglasses are not required to use the Eyebot kiosk.
  • We support single vision, bifocals, and progressive lenses.
  • Contact lens prescriptions: Not supported.
  • If you wear contacts, please remove them 4 hours before taking the vision test.
  • For best results: Bring your current eyeglasses when you take the test.

Everything you need to know before visiting the booth.

Each session collects key optical measurements and intake information which are securely sent to a remote licensed eye doctor for review. The doctor evaluates the results and determines whether to issue a prescription.

The Eyebot kiosk collects several clinically relevant measurements, including:

  • Refraction – Determines lens power needed to correct vision
  • Visual acuity – Measures clarity of sight
  • Lensometry – Reads existing glasses prescription
  • Patient intake information – Basic health and vision history

These measurements are reviewed by a licensed eye doctor responsible for the final prescription decision.

The Vision test, which includes your prescription, is $20. All frames start at $97. Lens costs will vary based on your selection.
Your doctor-signed prescription is typically ready in under an hour β€” and never more than 24 hours. It will be sent to you via email from Eyebot. It's also automatically added to your eyewear order in the background, so there's nothing extra you need to do. You can receive your prescription without purchasing eyewear.
We carry a curated selection of contemporary frames in a range of styles, shapes, and colors. Visit the booth to try them on in person β€” our staff will help you find the perfect fit.
